Susan Tanner, MD

Environmental Medicine

Dr. Tanner received her B.A from Emory University in Atlanta, GA, then earned her Medical Degree at the Universidad Nordestana, in the Dominican Republic. Dr. Tanner attended her Post-Graduate residency in Internal Medicine at Atlantic City Medical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

After 15 years of traditional general and family practice, she became interested in the cause of disease rather than just the treatment of chronic illnesses. Having two children diagnosed in the Autism/ADD spectrum furthered her research into the environmental impacts on chronic health issues.

Dr Tanner is Board Eligible with the American Academy of Environmental Medicine, with plans to sit for the Board Certification Exams in October, 2005.
